**Vasuki Vaibhav** (born December 7, 1992) is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, and actor who works predominantly in Kannada cinema and theatre. Celebrated for his soulful vocal texture, innovative folk-contemporary fusion, and thoughtful songwriting, he has emerged as one of Sandalwood's most versatile and influential modern musical talents. Born and raised in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Vaibhav grew up steeped in the performing arts. He began his creative journey in Kannada experimental theatre, where he wrote, composed, performed, and directed stage music. His breakthrough into cinema arrived with D. Satya Prakash's critically acclaimed road drama *Rama Rama Re...* (2016), where his earthy background score and soundtrack captured instant attention. He also won early notice as a playback singer with the chartbuster track "Kaagadada Doniyalli" from Rishab Shetty's blockbuster *Kirik Party* (2016). Vaibhav reached major critical and commercial heights with Rishab Shetty's National Award-winning children's drama *Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai* (2018). His soundtrack, featuring memorable numbers like "He Sharade" and "Dadda Song," resonated widely and earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director (Kannada). He followed this with celebrated compositions and songs in films such as *Churikatte* (2018), *Ondalla Eradalla* (2018), *Mundina Nildana* (2019), *French Biriyani* (2020), *Badava Rascal* (2021) which won him another Filmfare trophy, *Tatsama Tadbhava* (2023), and *Tagaru Palya* (2023). Beyond composing, Vaibhav built immense mainstream popularity across Karnataka through television, finishing as the second runner-up on *Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7* in 2019–2020. He has also maintained an active acting presence on screen, appearing in character roles in films like *Urvi* (2016), *Shuddhi* (2017), *Man of the Match* (2022), Anup Bhandari's *Vikrant Rona* (2022), and *Tagaru Palya* (2023). Blending theatrical roots with contemporary musical sensibilities, he remains a key creative force in new-age Kannada entertainment.
